Introduction[]
Yamaha YZF 600R Thundercat is Yamaha sportsbike produced from 1996 to 2003. It's based on Yamaha FZR 600R, but has many major changes (mainly in the engine). Due to its weight caused by the steel frame it cannot compete with similar sports bikes (like Yamaha R6 or Honda CBR), but has many adventages (good wind protection, comfortable rider position and linear power delivery) which make it a very good touring machine.
